ANNIE is one of the world’s most beloved musicals, based on a beloved comic strip from over 100 years ago, and is the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical! The show features some of the most iconic songs to ever grace the stage and screen, including “Tomorrow”, “Hard Knock Life”, and “Easy Street”.
Set in 1930’s New York City, Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her on the doorstep of the orphanage that is run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. With the help of the other girls in the orphanage, Annie escapes to find herself giving hope to the poorest of NYC, saving a lovable mutt named Sandy, befriending Grace Farrell, who is the personal secretary of billionaire Oliver Warbucks, who promises to enlist the help of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to help find her parents!
Starring Savannah favorites, F. Michael Zaller, Laura Wild, Matt Meece, and introducing Molly Feldman and Maryn Meece as Annie (alternating casts), this is a heartwarming and family-friendly way to enjoy a classic musical!
